The venue of IWGPM 2016 is the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge (often abbreviated SLCU), which was opened in 2011 and is a leading centre for research in plant sciences. Its building was awarded the Stirling Prize for architecture in 2012. The conference dinner will take place at Lucy Cavendish College.
